You know the sound of a car park full of Subarus warming up before an event. Boxer burbles overlapping, everyone comparing notes on the same platform, the same obsession, all in one place.
SubiNats is Australia's biggest all-Subaru event, and it's back at Sydney Motorsport Park on 10 October 2026 after a year off. Pro Speed HQ's been buzzing about it for months, more than usual, and that's saying something.

What Is SubiNats, and Why Does It Matter?
SubiNats started in 2014 at Wakefield Park before two big years at Phillip Island. It moved to Sydney Motorsport Park in 2018, and by its 10th anniversary in 2024 the event had grown to over 300 cars on display and close to 400 in the sunset parade lap.
The event is 100% volunteer-run and not-for-profit, organised once again by the Impreza WRX Club. After sitting out 2025, SubiNats returns with the same community behind it, Subaru clubs and owners across NSW and Victoria, with active club membership representing well over 1,000 Subaru owners nationwide.
A Full Day on Track, on Show and Under Lights
SubiNats '26 runs from early morning through to 10pm under lights, packing five major events into one day at Sydney Motorsport Park. There's something for every kind of Subaru owner, whether you're sprinting, showing, sliding or just there for the day out.
The lineup splits across the Gardner Circuit, the skid pan and Auto Avenue, so competitors and spectators can move between the action all day. Here's a closer look at each one.
GFB Supersprint: Track Time Against an All-Subaru Field
The GFB Supersprint puts you on Sydney Motorsport Park's Gardner Circuit against a field that's entirely powered by Subaru engines (Toyota 86 with FA engine included), timed runs against the clock and against each other.
It's the main track attraction of the day, and the format rewards seat time as much as raw power. Line up against another Subaru sprinter and see where you land.

Pro Speed IAG Roll Racing: Making Its Debut Under Lights
Making its debut at SubiNats '26, Roll Racing runs from 6:30pm under lights, proudly supported by our mates at Roll Racing Australia and IAG.
We're proud this one carries our name. It's the last event of the day, and there's no better way to send SubiNats '26 off than roll racing under lights.

Pakelo Lubricants Shotgun Shootout: Skid Pan Bragging Rights
Head to head on the skid pan, against your mates, equal cars, or a random rival, with a passenger riding shotgun for every run.
It's pure fun and glory, no serious result on the line. Spectators can even jump in for a $10 passenger ride and feel what the fuss is about.
Roo Racing Show & Shine: Over 300 Subies on Display
Roo Racing Show & Shine brings together over 300 polished Subarus for the day, judged by industry professionals across a range of categories.
If your build is more show than sprint, this is where it earns its moment. Wander the rows and you'll find every era of Subaru represented.
Auto Avenue: Trade Stands, Merch and the Whole Family Day
Auto Avenue is where the trade stands, merchandise and sponsor displays live, plus music and entertainment for the whole family, not just the drivers.
We'll have a stand set up here all day, so come say hello. We're planning some special offers on the day for anyone who drops by.
Why We Love Subarus: The ProSteed BRZ Comes Along for the Ride
Our ProSteed BRZ won't be competing at SubiNats '26, but as major sponsors, we couldn't leave it in the shed. It'll be on display all day. Here’s a little run down:
An Invidia titanium exhaust cuts weight over the standard system and frees up flow, giving the car a note that matches the way it drives.
Wider 285-width tyres, up from the original 265, put more rubber on the road, so there's more grip to lean on through every corner.
