WTAC 2025: Where Real Performance Parts Prove Their Worth

WTAC 2025: Where Real Performance Parts Prove Their Worth

Pro Speed Racing |

It's that time of year again! The World Time Attack Championship 2025 (WTAC) is here, taking place on the 5-6 September at Sydney Motorsport Park. We don't know about you, but we're like a bunch of kids who just discovered the grown-ups left the tool shed unlocked and there's serious horsepower to be unleashed.

To be honest, it’s been a hectic time. On top of running normal operations, we've been getting our car ready: the ProSteed Subaru BRZ. This isn't just another modified car. It's our rolling testament for what happens when you stop compromising and start building properly.

We’re talking world-first FA24 Nitto conrods, TurboSmart 6464 turbo, and enough aero to generate its own weather system—and some!

But here's the thing. While we're out there on track, you'll also find us in the vendor area with our mobile store loaded with deals on the brands that actually matter: Radium Engineering, CSF Racing, Tillet, and AST-Moton

Because nothing says "we believe in our products" quite like bolting them to our own car and sending it in front of thousands of people.

WTAC 2025: Where Heroes Are Made and Cooling Systems Are Tested

WTAC isn't your average motorsport event. It's where the fastest time attack cars on the planet come to settle scores against the clock, and where cooling systems either work or become very expensive lawn ornaments.

At Sydney Motorsport Park, there's nowhere to hide. No race strategy, no pit stops, no excuses. Just you, your car, and that merciless timer counting every tenth you're leaving on the table.

When teams roll up with six-figure builds and months of preparation, they're not running parts from the "good enough" pile. They're running gear that works when everything's on the line, which is exactly why our brands keep showing up on the podium.

The ProSteed BRZ: Our Street-Legal Science Experiment

Built to Handle Heat. Tuned to Win.

This build is more than just a rolling parts list. It's a street-legal, track-tempered showcase of what happens when quality parts meet obsessive tinkering and tuning.

Key Features That Make This Thing Move:

Engine: World-first FA24 Nitto conrods, TurboSmart 6464 turbo, CP pistons

Cooling: CSF radiator keeping temperatures in check when things get spicy

Fuel: Radium Engineering surge tank, Injector Dynamics 1750cc injectors, Zeitronix ethanol flex fuel kit

Suspension: AST 3-way adjustable coilovers, complete catalog of HardRace control arms and braces

Braking: Alcon TA6 front/TA4 rear big brake kit, Dixcel rotors and pads

Aero: Full Voltex body kit because subtlety is overrated

Interior: Tillet C1 racing seat, AEM 5" dash, Zestek CAN controller

Exhaust: Invidia titanium system for when you need the whole track to know you're coming

Every mod has a purpose, every brand is battle-tested. From cooling to cornering, aero to electronics, the ProSteed BRZ is what we'd run because we literally do run it. Built and tuned by Pulse Racing, this thing is our proof of concept that performance parts should work as hard as the people who install them.

Radium Engineering: Keeping the Fuel Flowing When Physics Gets Involved

Radium Engineering solves the problems that most people don't even know they have yet. When you're pulling serious lateral loads and your stock fuel system is doing the automotive equivalent of trying to drink from a cup while being shaken upside down, Radium keeps the party going.

CSF Racing: Cooling That Actually Cools When It Counts

CSF radiators and intercoolers were everywhere in last year's WTAC paddock, and there's a damn good reason for that. Their bar and plate construction isn't marketing fluff. It's engineering that creates the airflow needed for actual heat transfer when track temperatures climb and everything's being pushed to the absolute limit.

Tillet: Where Safety Meets the Need for Speed

Proper seating isn't just about comfort. It's about control, safety, and not sliding around like a pinball when the cornering forces start building. Tillet's carbon fiber construction provides incredible strength without the weight penalty, plus FIA approval means real safety testing, not just marketing claims.

AST-Moton: Dutch Engineering That Handles Australian Conditions

AST dampers showed up on some seriously quick machinery at last year's event. These aren't your typical coilovers with fancy anodizing masquerading as performance engineering. This is engineering  precision that's been tested across multiple motorsport disciplines where consistency and reliability aren't negotiable.

Come Find Us at WTAC: Where Performance Meets Proof

We'll be at WTAC with our ProSteed BRZ ready to show exactly what these components can do when properly engineered and expertly tuned.

Our mobile store will be loaded with the same gear that's proven itself on championship builds.

Come see the difference real performance parts make.
