Description

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose will increase airflow to the engine, increasing horsepower while adding a touch of color and style to your engine bay.

Notes:

  • The OEM intake has a corrugated hose section before the cast housing section which some Aftermarket intakes reuse. Other intakes replace all hoses/piping up to the cast section. Two hoses are available, long and short, to allow compatibility with the OEM intake and most aftermarket intakes.
  • For cars with ETS V1 or COBB intakes (to suit long Perrin hose), the inlet hose will require trimming for proper fitment (The ETS V1 Intake uses a 45 degree coupler at the inlet hose connection and the V2 uses a straight coupler)

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet hose adds 10-15 wheel horsepower in the top end plus 5-10 ft-lbs. of torque in the middle RPMS.

Why You Want This Part

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose removes a large leak the factory designed into the turbo. Fixing this leak reduces how hard the turbo works to hit the desired boost level. This added efficiency adds more HP and allows custom tuners to increase boost levels at higher RPMs, adding even more power!

Two Sizes

The PERRIN Inlet Hose for the 2022+ WRX comes in two different lengths to accommodate more intake options. Please check the compatibility notes to see which one is best for your setup.

3" Diameter for More Flow

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose has a 3.0" internal diameter compared to the 2.6" found in the OEM part. This allows for a greater amount of air to smoothly enter your engine with virtually no restriction. This larger diameter will easily support all bolt-on modifications and increased boost levels.

Smoother Air Flow

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is perfectly smooth on the inside. The OEM turbo inlet has sharp bends, corrugated ribbing, and strange pockets, all of which disturb airflow. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is much smoother, with more gradual bends toward the turbo making for less restriction leading to increased horsepower and improved acceleration.

Wire Reinforcement

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is reinforced with a stainless steel support wire that is embedded within the silicone layers. The support adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapses when used with restrictive filter elements and high horsepower setups.

No Tuning Required

Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any tuning required!
