Torque Solution Thermal Blankets are highly effective at protecting components around your turbo by effectively blocking the heat produced by the hot down pipe elbow. Our blankets are made of protective wire mesh, insulated fiberglass layers, and an external carbon fiber layer. This blanket fits the FK8 Type-R turbocharger down pipe elbow perfectly to keep your engine bay temps in check. Reduced under hood temps help reduce turbo lag, increase power by lowering IAT's, protects critical components near the turbo and looks great doing it.
