The Pro Speed Edit: What To Look Out For in 2026

Pro Speed Racing |

2025. What. A. Year.

We’re still buzzing from last year. And it’s only making us more excited for 2026. Yeah, more of the same - cutting-edge projects, stellar events, new partnerships - but so much more. To be honest, we can’t get enough.

How about you?

2026 is already shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and louder. New parts. Fresh tech. Track events that’ll blow your socks off. And a motorsport community that’s hungrier than ever to go faster, drive harder, mod smarter, and have fun.

In this edit, we’re giving you a look under the hood at what’s coming. From upcoming product drops and events to game-changing industry shifts.

Curious? Come find out. This is going to be fun.

Your Official 2026 Event Warm-Up Lap

We’ve got a stacked calendar this year. Honestly? We’re not quite sure where we’ll squeeze it all in — but we will. Because this is what drives us. The builds, the track days, the late nights and early starts. This is the fun part.

From grassroots sprint series to full-send world class festival weekends, here’s what we’re gearing up for this year.

Add these to the calendar:

✔️ Tarmac Sprint Series – A technical, low to medium speed sprint format ideal for first-timers, featuring timed runs on a closed tarmac circuit at Sydney Dragway.

✔️ WRX Club Interclub Series  – A welcoming track day environment run by the Impreza WRX Club of NSW, open to all drivers looking to build confidence and sharpen skills.

✔️ NSW Supersprint Series - We have partnered with Motorsport Australia to bring this High Level supersprint series across Six rounds featuring iconic tracks throughout New South Wales.

✔️ World Time Attack Challenge – Australia’s flagship time attack event, bringing global teams, extreme builds, and benchmark-setting laps to Sydney Motorsport Park.

✔️ SubiNats – The heart of Subaru culture. Returning October 2026, SubiNats blends show cars, circuit action, and one of the most passionate communities in motorsport.

✔️ Aus Time Attack – Home to some of Australia’s fastest cars and fiercest competition. 2026 is shaping up to be a record-breaking year. More at austimeattack.com.au.

✔️ GR Cup Series (Toyota 86) – Close, door-to-door one-make racing that puts driver skill front and centre. Watch the next generation of Australian driver talent do battle as apart of the Supercars supports series.

Whether you’re spectating, wrenching, racing, or just soaking up the noise — these events are what our scene is all about. Community, speed, and a shared love for machines that move us (fast). We’ll be there, and we’d love to see you there too.

A Look Back: WTAC 2025

Last year at World Time Attack Challenge, we brought something a little different to the paddock — the ProSteed BRZ. Not just a display car, but a hands-on build packed with carefully selected gear that turned heads and sparked plenty of pit-lane chats.

From its Turbosmart Turbocharger, Pfitzner gearset through to the aggressive aero and CSF cooling setup, the car was a rolling case study in balance and performance. WTAC gave it the perfect stage to show what real-world parts can do when they come together with purpose.

Keep An Eye Out For These—And Get Your Cart Ready

After a very successful SEMA tour in Las Vegas at the back end of 2025, meeting with the industries biggest brands as well as newest innovators,  we have secured partnerships with some of the most recognisable names in the automotive space. These catalogues are being uploaded to the website and will be available to purchase mid year.

It is a very exciting time for us and we can’t wait to peel off the covers and reveal these new brands which cover the categories of brakes, cooling, dress up, intakes and more.

Who We’re Teaming Up With (and Why It’s Cool)

We can reveal one of the brands we have partnered up with: NRG Innovations

The container’s landed, shelves are stocked to the brim, and the NRG Innovations collection is now live on the webstore — with a huge variety of steering wheels, quick releases, bucket seats, adjustable wings, and more available to order.

NRG’s a brand that’s long been respected in the US motorsport and street scene for doing things right. Think smart design, solid build quality, and gear that you can count on to perform. Now, you’ve got access to a much deeper range right here.

Plenty to explore — and plenty of reasons to.

We have further developed and built upon our existing relationship with both Grimmspeed and PRL Motorsports, elevating our dealer status to new heights and  becoming the premier supplier in Australia; holding  the largest amount of both brands products on the shelf combined with unbeatable pricing.

What's In Store For The Industry This Year

OEM ECU “gateways” are pushing the market toward bypass modules + sanctioned pathways

With ever increasing emissions restrictions, current models are heavily de-tuned from factory, adding to this newer vehicles increasingly use security gateways / locked ECUs, so tuning is trending toward gateway-bypass solutions, CAN integration, and platform-specific hardware rather than “generic OBD flashes.”

Big expansion into “new-to-tuning” late-model platforms (especially trucks/SUVs)

Performance tuning growth isn’t just “faster Subarus and Golfs” anymore—brands like Integrated Engineering are chasing high-volume modern platforms where owners want usable torque, towing drivability, and daily reliability.

With a focus on tuning, flex-fuel / ethanol capability is becoming more plug-and-play

Expect more CAN-based ethanol content integration, cleaner wiring, and “OEM-like” install paths—because ethanol is still one of the most cost-effective power adders for turbo platforms. We expect a complete range of options to be available from Zeitronix later this year.

Team Talk: What We’re Up To Behind the Scenes

Behind the scenes there is no rest, Prospeed Racing is always a hub of activity!

We have started 2026 with a fresh face joining  the team in the warehouse as a part of the dispatch team.

An extremely keen and enthusiastic young William has been welcomed to the team to ensure we keep processing times to a minimum as we continue to provide Australia with the  most reliable parts supply service possible.

From a racing perspective, we will focus our efforts across the NSW Supersprint series and the crown jewel WTAC 2026 / 4-5th of September. Last year the Prosteed BRZ  finished a respectable Fourth in Tuner class, however we have found a lot of time over summer and expect to have a very competitive crack at the top spot later this year.

One Hell of a Year Incoming

If 2025 was about proving what’s possible, 2026 is about pushing it further — on track, under the hood, and across the Pro Speed garage. New events, sharper gear, tighter builds, and more ways to get involved are already lining up.

Wherever your next mod or motorsport moment takes you, we’ll be right there with the tools, parts, and know-how to make it count. Here’s to the grip, the grind, and the grin that follows.

See you out there.
