Description

The Bilstein B6 Offroad Shock Absorber Kit for the Toyota Hilux N90 26+ (4WD) is built specifically for Australian conditions, not just adapted to them. Designed, developed and hand assembled in Bilstein’s Sydney facility, each shock is tuned for local roads, corrugations, towing and genuine off-road use.

Using Bilstein’s proven 46 mm monotube gas pressure technology, the B6 Offroad kit delivers stable, predictable damping on bitumen, gravel and rough tracks. The monotube design keeps oil and high-pressure gas separated to minimise cavitation, giving consistent performance over long, demanding stretches and repeated corrugations.

This kit is suitable for standard-height Hilux models and vehicles running up to approximately a 50 mm (2") lift, making it a strong choice for daily-driven 4WDs that also see touring, towing or regular off-road work. Multiple front spring perch positions allow fine-tuning of ride height and front-end stance to suit accessories such as bullbars and winches.

Each damper is assembled, filled and tested in-house by Bilstein technicians who understand how Australian 4WDs are actually used. Many B6 Offroad dampers are also fully serviceable, offering the option of professional rebuilds to restore performance and extend service life beyond standard replacement intervals.
