The BMW M5 has long been the benchmark in full-size sport sedans, and the new G9X M5 continues that legacy. While heavier than previous generations, it delivers exceptional performance, handling, and luxury. One limiting factor of the S68 engine is the fragile factory charge-air coolers. CSF has addressed this issue by revising their proven S63/S68 Charge-Air-Coolers, now available for the G90/G99 M5.
Sharing its engine with the F9X X5M/X6M meant aftermarket tunes and power upgrades quickly became available. The S68 has already produced over 900whp on stock internals, creating added heat and pressure. F9X M5/M8 & X5M/X6M owners have long relied on CSF’s Charge-Air-Coolers to handle this stress. Now, CSF brings the same solution to the latest G9X M5 platform.
The new Charge-Air-Coolers come in an OEM+ crinkle black finish, with custom finishes available at an additional cost for a unique engine bay appearance.
CSF originally developed the S63 Charge-Air-Coolers for the F9X M5/M6, with over 500 kits sold—many supporting 1000+ hp builds. Based on this success, CSF quickly developed a new kit for the G90/G99 M5 with the help of tuning partners and testing companies.

Real-World Testing
Initial testing was performed on a Stage 3 F90 M5 producing ~900whp. CSF coolers are currently used on the world’s fastest S63-powered M cars, including 1200+ hp builds. Independent tests on G9X M5s confirmed performance gains in real conditions.
IND Distribution
IND was first to test-fit the coolers. Baseline dyno runs produced 696whp and 729wtq in stock form. After installing CSF Charge-Air-Coolers with an intake, exhaust, and tune, output increased to 757whp and 828wtq—even in 100°F heat and high humidity.
Kies Motorsport
Kies Motorsport tested the CSF kit on Miguel’s M5 with a dÄHLer Tuner. Results were consistent across three pulls: 765–776whp and 778–786wtq on 93 octane pump gas.
MTech Performance
MTech Performance in Florida helped @1fastg90 push his G90 M5 further. With a Femto Flash ECU unlock and custom tuning, the car produced 956whp and 865wtq. Dragy testing showed 60–130mph in just 6 seconds.
