Description

Unlock consistent, repeatable power from your Subaru WRX VA (2015–2021) with the Garrett PowerMax Intercooler in raw finish. Engineered as a true direct-fit upgrade, this charge air cooler delivers lower intake temperatures, reduced heat soak and proven gains in power, all while retaining factory mounting points and hardware.

Featuring a 70% larger core than the stock intercooler and optimised cast aluminium end tanks, the PowerMax flows more air with less restriction. In Garrett’s back-to-back wind tunnel dyno testing, this intercooler showed gains of up to 16 hp (12 kW) and 15 lb-ft (20 N·m) of torque over the OEM unit, while increasing the heat saturation point from 4 to 6 consecutive dyno pulls.

Designed to support builds up to 530 hp (395 kW), it’s ideal for tuned or heavily modified WRX applications where reliability and intake temperature control are critical. Installation typically takes around 1 hour using the original bolts, hoses and clamps; only minor trimming of the factory engine cover is required.
