Description
The GFB WGA Internal Wastegate Actuator for the Can-Am Maverick X3 is a high-performance upgrade designed to give your turbo far better boost control than the factory actuator, especially on tuned engines running higher boost.
Featuring a larger diaphragm and advanced internal design, the WGA provides greater control authority over the wastegate flap. This helps prevent exhaust backpressure from forcing the wastegate open too early during spool-up or at high RPM, where the OEM unit can struggle. The result is stronger, more consistent boost through the rev range and improved throttle response on and off the trail.
Supplied with three interchangeable springs and an easy-to-use turnbuckle adjustment, the WGA allows you to set and fine-tune base boost pressure from 5 psi to 22 psi. Compared with simply winding more pre-load into the factory actuator, this gives the ECU a far more stable and predictable platform to work with when calibrating higher boost targets.
Important: Although this is a physical bolt-on part, it is a tuning tool and will increase boost pressure. Professional ECU tuning is required after installation to ensure safe air/fuel ratios and engine reliability.
