Description

Unleash the sporty side of your 2018+ VW 2nd gen Tiguan with the IE Catback Exhaust System. Hidden beneath its refined SUV exterior lies the potential of a GTI-inspired 2.0T engine waiting to roar to life. Our proprietary DroneTrap technology delivers a deep, sporty exhaust note that’s thrilling on open roads and pleasantly subtle during daily drives. Built with precision and engineered to perfection, this exhaust system blends bold acoustics with unmatched durability.

iE's advanced DroneTrap technology captures the pulse waves responsible for the 2.0T engine's exhaust note and draws them into a mathematically tuned resonator. The internal port is engineered to resonate these waves against each other in a process that selectively cancels out those responsible for annoying drones. The remaining waves produce the deep and enriched exhaust acoustics enthusiasts love.

BUILT TO ENDURE
iE’s catback exhaust is built for sound, durability, and reliability. Made from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, it resists corrosion, with hand TIG-welded joints ensuring lasting strength. A stamped multi-wall muffler prevents warping, while reinforced hangers keep everything securely mounted and disperses weight to reduce stress and vibration. Inspired by high-end OE designs, wide-width stretch clamps keep every connection tight and leak-free.

ADVANCED R&D
By utilizing high-end 3D scanning technology and design software, iE engineers meticulously crafted this exhaust system to perfectly complement the Tiguan chassis. Enjoy seamless fitment, optimized flow, and exhilarating sound, all tailored specifically for your SUV.
