Description

The vision is for Kelford Cams to be known as one of the best in the camshaft industry, to be recognised worldwide for manufacturing high quality, high performance camshafts for the motorsport industry. We are a small company that, since 1968 has specialised in custom camshafts to suit the individual requirements of each racer. We have a vast knowledge of engine combinations for all types of motor sport and we know how to match camshafts to engine and vehicle requirements. All of our cams are manufactured in-house using ultra-modern design systems and ground using masterless CNC grinders with CBN cutting wheel technology for superior quality and consistency.

This Kelford Cams range of camshafts suits the non-variable generation 4 Toyota 3S-GTE engines as found in the 1997 Caldina. These engines have full sequential ignition with a coil on plug setup as well as individual port injection.

4-195-TA:

  • 262/262 Degrees advertised duration. 10.50mm/10.00mm lift
  • 3S-GTE Turbo cams for serious street performance engines with 400HP turbo

4-195-TB:

  • 272/272 Degrees advertised duration. 10.80mm/10.80mm lift
  • 3S-GTE Turbo cams for well built engines with 450-600HP turbo

4-195-TC:

  • 280/280 Degrees advertised duration. 11.30mm/10.80mm lift
  • 3S-GTE Turbo cams for all out drag racing. high RPM, 700HP+ turbo

4-195-A

  • 284°/276° | 10.50mm/10.20mm
  • 284°/276° cams for improved mid-high rpm power in tuned NA engines. Great for rally and circuit racing. Must have free flowing intake and exhaust upgrades. Suits higher compression ratio. Will pull to around 8-8.5k rpm depending on engine. Kelford Cams recommend KVS109-3S valve spring. The intake camshaft has been machined to fit the OEM Gen4 intake trigger. These cams can be used in Gen3 engines but will require the supplied grub screw to be fitted to the rear of the intake cam.

4-195-B:

  • 296°/284° | 11.20mm/10.50mm
  • Naturally aspirated racing cams to suit engines with increased compression, ported cylinder head and well designed intake plenum (or 45mm ITBs) and exhaust system. More top end power than the ‘A’ cam, pulling to around 9k-9.5k rpm depending on engine. Great for circuit racing or rally with close ratio gearbox. Kelford Cams recommend KVS109-3S valve spring. The intake camshaft has been machined to fit the OEM Gen4 intake trigger. These cams can be used in Gen3 engines but will require the supplied grub screw to be fitted to the rear of the intake cam.
