Description

The Link Exhaust Gas Temperature Probe (EGT) is an extreme-duty, fast-response Type K thermocouple designed for accurate exhaust gas temperature measurement in high-performance and motorsport applications. Its exposed sensing junction provides fast temperature response, making it ideal for monitoring exhaust temperatures during engine tuning and under demanding operating conditions.

Built with an Inconel outer sheath, stainless steel protected wiring and an adjustable 316 stainless steel compression fitting for reliable installation in extreme engine and racing environments.

Models Supported

  • Link G4+ Thunder ECU with two dedicated EGT inputs.
  • Other Link ECUs when used with a suitable thermocouple amplifier such as the LinkECU range of CANEGT controllers.
  • Other aftermarket ECUs supporting Type K thermocouples.

Warnings
A thermocouple amplifier is required when using the EGT Probe with a Link ECU that does not have a suitable onboard thermocouple input. Correct polarity must be observed when wiring the Type K thermocouple: yellow is positive (+) and red is negative (-).
