The Mishimoto 2017+ Honda Civic Type R Aluminum Expansion Tank removes the eyesore that is the conspicuously beige stock tank from the engine bay, replacing it with a sleek all-aluminum design that looks more at home under the hood with the option for a color-matching Rallye Red or stealthy black micro-wrinkle finish. Where the plastic tank is great for mass production, It's destined to fail with repeated heating and cooling cycles. Our expansion tank design will take the worry out of containing your coolant, and can stand up to the oven that is the Civic Type R's engine bay. We have incorporated internal baffling within our tank to keep your coolant level during aggressive driving. The Mishimoto Aluminum Expansion Tank also includes a sight glass for quick visibility on fluid levels, and is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty for a worry-free install.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2. 5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in- 2-3NM. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).
