Description

Whether you have a daily driven Vette or a built Mustang, proper oil temperatures are crucial for engine longevity and performance. Keep temperatures in check with the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat. This high-flow sandwich plate is constructed from lightweight CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum, providing unmatched precision and quality. The internal oil thermostat will restrict flow to the heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached;this provides improved warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling properties. Thanks to a small footprint and rear-mounted thermostat, the Mishimoto'sandwich plate can be installed in even the tightest engine bays where the exhaust or other engine components create strict space constraints. This sandwich plate includes two 1/8-inch NPT ports for use with temperature or pressure sensors. The included M22 X 1. 5 sandwich plate adapter allows for fitment on various GM LSX vehicles and Ford V8's including the 4. 6L, 5. 4L, and Coyote 5. 0L.
