Motul lubricants protect your engine throughout its lifecycle in accordance with the recommendation of the manufacturers and the various existing standards such as EURO, which sets limits on emissions, and other standards like ACEA, API, JASO, NMMA FC-W.
The 8100 series of lubricants is a product range based on synthetic technology to cover the widest application range. Combining the most recent approvals from various OEMs into the different products. Multi brand dealers and independent aftermarket customers can take advantage of the broad coverage. This allows the product basket to be streamlined while catering for wide vehicle spectrum.
8100 X-CLEAN is a high performance 100% Synthetic lubricant approved by many car manufacturers. Specially designed for last generation cars, powered by Gasoline or Diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, indirect or direct injection, Euro 4, 5 or 6 emission regulation compliant, requiring an ACEA C3 engine oil i.e. high HTHS (> 3.5 mPa.s) viscosity and "Mid SAPS" with reduced content of Sulfated Ash (≤ 0.8%), Phosphorus (0.07 ≤ x ≤ 0.09%) and Sulfur (≤ 0.3%). Compatible with catalytic converters and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).
