The whole Nitto 4340 connecting rod range is produced from the highest quality double melted forged billet material. Double melted 4340 is a significant feature when compared to other aftermarket offerings which are typically only single melted. The extra melting process removes material impurities, ensuring the 4340 material our rods are made from are of the highest standard. The forging of the billet also ensures a tight and uniform relationship between material grains, enhancing the strength of the one piece forging, unlike the commonly used two piece designs in the lower end of the maket.
Nitto H-beams are the younger brother of the I-beam connecting rod, but due to the simpler manufacturing process, these connecting rods remain affordable without compromising high quality design, production and finishing. Nitto H-beams are specifically designed for the mid-tier enthusiast or racer and have held a strong reputation in their time on the market.
Nitto H-beam connecting rods feature quality ARP 2000 rod bolts and silicone bronze wrist pin bushes to ensure reliability. Nitto H-beam connecting rods are for use in applications that require a strengthened link between the crankshaft and piston but do not require the heavy duty link of an I-beam connecting rod.
