The Overtake Intercooler Charge Pipe Lower Kit is designed to replace the factory lower charge pipe found in the FA24DIT Subaru models such as WRX, Outback XT, Legacy XT, and Ascent. The original plastic pipe is bulky and prioritises noise reduction over engine performance, often resulting in a cluttered engine bay and muffled turbo sounds.
By upgrading to the Overtake lower charge pipe, you not only enhance the aesthetics of your engine but also improve sound clarity from the turbo. This kit features mandrel-bent 6061 aluminium for increased strength and durability while ensuring a tight fit with a machined turbo adapter that reuses the OEM retention clip. With a secure bolt-on connection at the lower mounting point, the risk of disconnection under boost is significantly reduced.
This upgrade is compatible with OEM and aftermarket upper pipes, enabling you to maintain performance without requiring a tune, making it a straightforward enhancement for your vehicle.
