Description

The Overtake Post MAF Hose Elbow replaces the restrictive factory elbow between the airbox and turbo inlet on the Subaru WRX VA 15-21 and Forester XT SJ 13-18. Subaru’s original part uses internal resonator pockets to quiet intake noise, but each pocket sits in the airflow path your turbo is trying to use.

This elbow is moulded from heat resistant ABS with a smooth internal wall and a consistent bend radius. The result is cleaner airflow and a more direct path from the airbox to the turbo, while retaining the factory airbox, MAF sensor, couplers and clamps. Installation is straightforward and typically takes around 20–30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Designed to look at home in the engine bay, the Overtake Post MAF Hose Elbow carries an OEM-plus exterior finish and uses a stainless steel support bracket that ties into the original mounting point, keeping the elbow properly supported instead of resting on the couplers alone. Removing the resonator pockets will increase intake sound compared to stock.
