The Transmission Cooler Kit provides consistent thermal management for vehicles operating in high stress environments. Featuring a high performance bar and plate core and billet end tanks, the system increases cooling efficiency to ensure the gearbox remains within its ideal temperature range during heavy use.
A critical design element of this kit is its integration with the factory heat exchanger. Retaining the factory exchanger within the cooling loop is essential for maintaining proper fluid temperatures during light and medium loads, as it prevents the transmission from operating at temperatures that are too low for optimal performance.
To ensure the integrity of the system, the kit is equipped with Gates LOLA 300 psi hose and 400 series Speedflow fittings. These components are selected for their durability and their ability to provide a secure, reliable connection for the lifespan of the vehicle.
