The purpose of a Roll Over Valve is to cut off the supply of air/oxygen to a fuel tank in the event of a vehicle roll over, and to prevent fuel pouring out of the Fuel Tank Breather. It is therefore used as part of the tank breather system.
Must be mounted with the AN Male Flare facing in the upwards direction. These operate using a ball bearing that locates in a seat when turned upside down. The bulkhead style can be mounted under a boot floor, with a hose that runs from the top of the Fuel Tank to the valve, generally via one or two loops to prevent fuel pushing through the hose under hard accelaration, brakes or cornering.
