Description

This kit is designed for aftermarket Mustang fuel pump hangers. These typically eliminate the internal post pump fuel filter, thus require a low micron fuel filter.

The large bracket secures to OEM threaded holes under the brake booster near the LH strut tower. With a reflective surface finish, this bracket also serves as a heat shield to protect the fuel system from excessive heat produced by the headers. Using a 2-piece billet aluminum clamp, the fuel filter mounts inside the heat shield.

For plumbing, 6AN PTFE hoses and 6AN fittings are provided to adapt to the OEM feed line and fuel rail. Furthermore, a replacement EVAP line is included to simplify installation. The kit can also be purchased as the mount only if you wish to purchase a filter separately and run custom plumbing.

NOTES:
1. No cutting or drilling is required.
2. The fuel filters can withstand alternate fuels such as methanol, ethanol, E85, etc.

  • 2024+ S650 Ford Mustang (all trims excluding RHD)

Note: For manual transmission vehicles, the 2-bolt flange clutch line bracket will need to be slightly moved to clear the fuel filter inlet fitting.
