One of the VAG group companies Audi really became noticed as producers of performance road cars in the early 80’s with their release of the legendary Audi Ur Quattro, the world’s first all-wheel drive turbo production car. This was a real game changer which went on to win numerous world rally championships and sowed the seeds for their future high performance road cars. Scorpion has a heritage of producing high quality performance exhausts for these legends of the 80’s through to the highly sought-after performance models available currently.

Cat/GPF-Back System:

Our expert technicians have developed an 80mm/3.15” cat/GPF-back system with optional twin 170mm x 120mm tailpipes specifically for the Audi RS3 8Y Saloon non-GPF model. Here’s a closer look at the specifications and available options!

This exhaust can be optioned as either resonated (fitted with a centre silencer, which helps reduce drone and provides a more refined sound) or non-resonated (this option removes the original silencer and is louder).

Does our system retain or remove valve functionality? If optioned as valved, drivers will retain control of the car's soundtrack via the mode select button, allowing the ECU to modulate the sound levels from the Scorpion exhaust. Alternatively, with a non-valved system, this functionality is removed, providing a continuous exhaust tone without interruptions from the OEM valve operations.

Once installed, the new freer-flowing cat/GPF-back system ensures efficient expulsion of exhaust gases, improving the vehicle's power delivery and sharpening throttle response while also reducing overall weight.

Tailpipe Styles:

Ascari RS: Our larger oval premium sport option, the RS in Ascari, is the ultimate upgrade. Available exclusively in a matte carbon finish, highlights the distinctive sporty carbon weave. Its two-piece floating construction, with an inner brushed stainless-steel insert, allows hot gases to pass through without discolouring or weakening the outer carbon shell.

OE Fitment: This option indicates that our exhaust system has been designed with an OE-fitment finish, seamlessly integrating with the factory-installed diffuser trims to provide a stealthy and budget-friendly appearance.

Tailpipe Upgrade Kit:

We offer a tailpipe upgrade kit for this system. Thanks to our modular exhaust design, you can upgrade to our premium trim option at any time. This kit isn’t necessary if you’re purchasing a system that already includes tailpipes, but it provides flexibility for those who wish to make the change or upgrade in the future.
