Description

Note: This short block does NOT feature forged pistons. Instead it has the later model non-forged hypereutectic pistons

This is a genuine late model Subaru EJ207 2.0 litre shortblock. This shortblock is standard equipment on the Japanese 2015+ STi. The 2.0 litre block makes a great upgrade for all WRX models. The JDM EJ207 STi block features a thicker liner, semi-closed deck for increased strength and is a perfect base to upgrade to forged rods and pistons (sold separately). This motor is physically a bolt-in for all WRX and STi models (WRXs will require ECU tuning, bigger injectors, etc.).


NOTES:

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE MOTOR: This is a fully assembled bottom end, which consists of a block, crank, rods and pistons only. You will need to reuse your stock cylinder heads or purchase replacements.
THIS IS NOT A FORGED INTERNAL MOTOR: For high-powered applications, we recommend replacing the cast OEM pistons and rods in this block with aftermarket Forged OEM-size units.
