The Tomei product concept is "To produce a great product for ultimate driving pleasure". This time our latest product developments have been in these new Titanium exhaust systems. In recent years we have seen a growing trend in clubman racing series and more users enjoying their cars at track events. Seeing that there are power restrictions from the bolt on exhaust systems that are currently available on the market, we have decided to make a better product. Not for just power but for weight reductions and the best value for money product. So here we have our true competition use design exhaust system.

We wanted to make an exhaust system that will allow you enjoy your car more from the sound of the engine. Increased performance gains with the best power and response was the main target points. Through the use of minimal bends and the optimum pipe size we were able to achieve this goal. To improve the performance of the engine with just the muffler system alone isn't easy. So with the use of our Titanium material we were able to further reduce unwanted weight without compromise to the products overall strength. So with the strong commitment to our values and targets we were able to make a great product for all to enjoy.

Features:

Racing Layout

  • When aiming for true performance efficiency, we had chosen to design the exhaust with the least amount of bends as possible. Just like the true purpose built race cars, in a racing layout design, yet to still comply with the stock body design so it can be fitted to any street used vehicles.
  • Compared with the stock design, our design is single piping all the way for max weight reduction. We have also focused on the design of the muffler to produce the best exhaust sound without compromising performance.
  • The pipe diameter was chosen for optimum exhaust flow efficiency. For performance use in mind and weigh reduction. Thus the slide joints was made instead of using the conventional flange and gasket design.
  • This design was adopted for maximum exhaust flow efficiency without comprimising the quality of the structure and sound.
  • The design targets were strictly for performance use and for the best value for money for our end users.

3 Section Pipe Assembly

  • The conventional style flange is not used to help reduce weight even further. The use of the springs and clamps eliminates the need for gaskets as well.

High Durability Glass Wool

  • The long fiber wool threads were adopted for the silencer. This type has proven to last longer than the traditional fiberglass materials even over a longer period of time with extensive high temperature exposure both at high and low pressures.

Silencer:

  • Casing: The 152mm silencer casing (1mm wall thickness) is made with exhaust efficiency in mind. Each unit is embossed with our logo and then polished and heat treated for our signature look.
  • Perforated Tube: The all titanium 1mm thick inner tube feaures 3mm perforations spaced 5mm apart to achive an open area ratio of 32.6%. Using titanium maximizes weight reduction and durability whilst also providing that distinct racing sound.
  • Glass Wool: Long fibre glass wool is used in all our silencers. Compared to short fibre glass wool, longer fibres are much more resilient to wear especially againts prolonged high temperature/pressure conditions.

Flange:

  • Although conventional pressed flanges are lighter, our flanges are cut from 8mm thick titanium, making them more resistant to cracking and warping. In addition, the opening diameter is kept the same as stock to ensure a secure seal.

Complete Kit:

  • This kit includes all the components necessary for installation including the bolts and nuts. Bolt Smooth Paste is also included to help prevent the bolts becoming seized under heat.
