Introducing the game changer for big power VDJs. The Xtreme Outback X-Series takes a self-adjusting pressure plate with an insane 1600kg of clamping force and combines this with a high performance friction disc to maximise torque capacity. This version comes with the dual-friction disc making it suitable for vehicles with a 185% increase in torque at the engine. The addition of a ceramic friction facing will increase torque capacity but will also introduce some shudder etc. If you are looking for something with more driveability, we also offer an organic version (KTY29590-1TX)
This kit comes with a custom engineered, high performance S45 steel flywheel as well as the Xtreme Outback custom slave cylinder for optimal pedal feel and engagement point. For those looking for a clutch upgrade for a highly tuned VDJ, whilst minimising changes to driveability, there is simply no alternative.
Dual Friction - 1DX
Organic/Ceramic Dual Friction Clutch Disc offers improved torque holding capacity without sacrificing too much pedal effort and driver control.
Recommended for: Very highly tuned vehicles with turbo upgrades and injector upgrades etc.
